A MAP reveals the exact spot “flooding is likely” today as heavy rain lashes Britain.
The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning for the East Midlands and East Anglia.
Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely in the warning zone, forecasters said.
Some interruption to power supplies and other services like mobile phone coverage is also likely.
Bus and train services will probably be affected and spray and flooding on roads could make journey times longer.
Around 30-40mm of rain could soak some parts of the warning zone before the alert ends at 4pm.
The Environment Agency has issued 64 red flood warnings and 157 amber flood alerts across England.
Flooding is possible from surface water and rivers today in parts of the Midlands, east and north.
Another five amber flood alerts are in force around the River Dee and River Alyn in north Wales.
Today the weather will remain cloudy and windy across eastern England.
It will stay wet turning heavy again through the morning before easing into the later afternoon.
But it will be largely dry elsewhere with some bright spells developing.
The mercury will hover around normal but it could get rather cold in the east.
Tonight low clouds, patchy rain and drizzle will spread across central and eastern England.
There will be clear spells across Scotland and Northern Ireland with isolated frost.
Tomorrow any rain and low cloud in the south east will slowly lift and turn showery into the afternoon.
Elsewhere it will be drier with sunny spells and temperatures around the seasonal average.
On Thursday and Friday it will be dry with plenty of sunny spells feeling warm in light winds.
The rain will return from the west over the weekend with stronger winds.
