A TEEN has been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy who was left to die in the street after he was “stabbed with a zombie knife”.
Daejaun Campbell was ambushed in Woolwich, South East London on Sunday.
He was found in the street by horrified locals crying: “Please. I’m 15. Don’t let me die”.
Jacob Losiewicz, 18, from nearby Abbey Wood, has been charged with murder.
He will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Scotland Yard said.
Cops also arrested a second man aged in his 50s , who has now been released without charge.
The horror unfolded on Sunday night ahead of a ban on zombie knives coming into force.
Police had been called to the area following a report of a disturbance in the area.
They found Daejaun with a stab injury and he died a short time later despite the best efforts of emergency services.
The tragic youngster’s family are now being supported by specialist cops.
Detective Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry said: “The investigation into Daejaun’s murder continues.
“Detectives are working around the clock. Local officers will remain in the area whilst we continue with our investigation.
“Please do not hesitate to ask any questions, they are there to support you and the community.
“I want to appeal again for anyone who knows anything about the death of young Daejaun to come forward.”
Lawry added: “Did you see anything suspicious around the Eglinton Road area?
“Did you see anyone running away from the area? Do you have any footage?”
