Passenger dies on Jet2 flight to Liverpool from Bulgaria forcing plane to make emergency landing in Cologne

A PASSENGER has died on a flight from Bulgaria to Liverpool.

The Jet2 plane was forced to make an emergency diversion to Cologne, Germany, after the man fell ill.

Flight LS3214 left the city of Burgas shortly after 1pm local time on September 16.

Around two hours into the UK-bound flight, crew declared an emergency due to a medical incident involving a man on board.
