THIS is the dramatic moment fire engulfed a double-decker bus – with the inferno blocking a major road and sparking travel chaos.
Fire crews scrambled to the blaze on the A470 near Merthyr Tydfil in south Wales at 3.27am yesterday morning.
Footage shows smoke and flames billowing from the stationary double-decker bus while traffic builds up behind it.

The bus was completely destroyed by the inferno but no-one was injured.
Firefighters left the scene at 3.54am yesterday morning after putting out the blaze.
They handed the scene over to the local council, which has taken charge of cleaning up the road.
The A470 remained closed for some time from Defynnog to Hirwaun in both directions.
