A POLICE officer has been charged with causing the death of a grandmother by dangerous driving while part of a royal escort.
Christopher Harrison is accused of killing 81-year-old Helen Holland, who was hit by a motorcycle which was part of Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh’s police escort.

Helen, from Birchanger in Essex, died after being hit by the officer’s vehicle in Earl’s Court, West London, on May 10.
